Automatic regression

Automatic regression

The coronavirus is now spreading all over the world. Japan was soon declared a state of emergency, and there were days when I was about to go out. This work is a group of works that I started drawing at that time. For the first time, I drew seven horizontal works. Rather than a fictional world, I drew the inner world of the lostness in a seven-day story that overlapped with the journey of the heart. Oily colored pencils were mainly used as art supplies, and some acrylic paints were used. We also prepared 50 other works. This work is bleached with a new thick, darkly colored fabric so that the old cloth of persimmon astringency and the world view are not far separated. I expanded the image with the hint of uneven color made by bleaching. By bleaching, I was able to create a composition that reminded me of many scenes in one scene, and I think that I was able to lead to a new worldview. The effects of the new coronavirus continue, but it is a group of works depicted while returning to their feelings and daily life.
